FRESH HORIZONS HYPNOTHERAPY

Please read these terms and conditions which apply to the provision of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy during face to face sessions and online therapy, and with the use of this website. By making an appointment, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. 
 

Therapy Consultations and Fees

The cost for each Solution Focused Hypnotherapy session which lasts approx 1 hour is £70. This is following a FREE Initial Consultation session which also lasts approx 1 hour, no hypnotherapy is undertaken in this session.

Consultation fees are subject to review usually on an annual basis from 1st January. Notice will always be given of any price increases that occur when you are in a course of therapy.

A medical questionnaire is completed during the Initial Consultation to establish any contra-indications to treatment. Please update Fresh Horizons Hypnotherapy of any medical or medication changes during your course of therapy, or if you are or have undertaken other types of therapy.

Payment will be taken at the end of each session either in cash or by bank transfer.

Cancellation

If you wish to change, postpone or cancel an appointment, 24 hours notice must be given, or the cost of the full session is payable. Please contact Fresh Horizons Hypnotherapy on 07941988014 to make your cancellation. This minimum period of cancellation allows for the opportunity to offer the cancelled session to to another client.

If you wish to discontinue your course of therapy, you do not have to give a reason. However it is helpful if you can discuss these reasons so that if you wish to resume therapy, the reasons can be taken into account.

Following your last appointment, your rights of confidentiality are permanent. Client records are destroyed after 10 years.

Offers

At times, courses of treatment may be available under an offer for example buy 6 get one free. If this is the case it would always be the 6th session that was free. If you decided to cancel the course before it's end full payment of any sessions attended would be payable.

Punctuality

I appreciate that it is not always possible to be punctual so if you are running late or anticipate running late for your appointment, please leave a message (calls are not answered whilst working with a client) or send a text to 07941988014. Your message will be viewed when I am next available. Whilst Fresh Horizons Hypnotherapy will aim to accommodate “lost time”, please understand that the booking schedule may not always make this possible. The session may have to finish at the original finishing time.

Standards of Behaviour

Fresh Horizons Hypnotherapy/Jane Greenland will always treat you with respect and not abuse the trust that you put in her. In return, you will undertake to not harm yourself. You will respect any person at the therapy practice, including her and her property. You agree to come to the sessions not under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, except those prescribed by your doctor. If your conduct contravenes these standards of behaviour, she reserves the right to cancel the session and any further therapy sessions and charge for anytime incurred.

Goals

A well-motivated client is most likely to achieve realistic goals. It is unethical to guarantee a cure. The client always has control of thoughts, beliefs, emotions and behaviours and no client is “made” to do anything against their will using hypnosis. Fresh Horizons Hypnotherapy/Jane Greenland will apply her training, expertise and experience to your issues with the aim of achieving agreed goals in as reasonable time as possible. Estimates of the number of sessions required to treat a condition or reach a goal will be discussed at the Initial Consultation. Estimates will be given on the basis of the information presented at that time and are also made on the basis of treatment given to previous clients with differing case histories. Each client and their reasons for seeking therapy is unique so estimates are only rough guidelines and are subject to change.

If any of the terms and conditions are found to be unenforceable all other terms and conditions included herein remain in place.

Online Therapy

Online therapy includes using any form of electronic or digital communication media and software application e.g. Teams, FaceTime, WhatsApp etc. Online therapy will only be undertaken in the following circumstances :

• You are seeking professional services for personal therapy and not undertaking research for private use or publication.
• You accept that the session or session booking may be terminated without notice or reimbursement if Fresh Horizons Hypnotherapy/Jane Greenland should determine that the consultation is being used for any reason other than personal therapy.
• You agree to submit only true and accurate information and will not omit any information that might be significant in your treatment.

Suitability For Online Therapy

• You are 18 years of age and over.
• You are not feeling suicidal (please contact The Samaritans).
• You are not under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs prior to starting your consultation.
• You are not under the supervision of a psychiatrist or suffering from any diagnosed psychiatric condition, psychological illness or epilepsy.

Advance Payment For Online Therapy Sessions

Online therapy appointments require full payment at the time of booking for the mutually agreed appointment.

Duration Of Online Therapy Sessions

Online therapy sessions are usually 1 hour.

Electronic Media Malfunction or Failure

Fresh Horizons Hypnotherapy is not responsible for direct or consequential loss due to internet service failure or electronic media malfunction. No refunds are given when technological malfunction or failure is on part of the client.

Where there are technological malfunctions on Fresh Horizon's Hypnotherapy's part, reconnections will be attempted during the allotted appointment time. In the event of a complete technological failure on my part, the appointment will be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable time to complete the remaining time left in the session. Offline contact details can be used for the remaining treatment where it is reasonably possible and mutually agreed.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours notice is required for any appointment changes including cancellation and non-attendance, when this has been adhered to a refund of any advance payment will be given. Any changes made within the 24 notice period will be charged at the full session rate & any advance payment given will remain the properrty of Fresh Horizons Hypnotherapy/Jane Greenland.
